it makes me think they are in trouble.
Lincoln at one point made some of the most luxurious and desired automobiles in the US. Things are just not looking good for them an ei th er website isn’ t helping e ither.
Their “Vehicles” page shows 7 models for 2018 but only 2 for 2019.
This can’t possibly be the full line up, is it?
With Ford killing off sedans, is this all that is left? What about the Navigator?
They could always take my Blackwood and build that too.

The MKT still exists?

even after writing this, i had to go back and look at what the MKT is.

I think they meant “why Lincoln” as the answer, not the question.
Maybe they just haven’t listed 2019 sedans yet. I hope so.

The 2019 models are still coming out. There is no way in hell they’d drop the Navigator!
Also, I like the Blackwood more than I should

Hearse. So awful.

I thought the MKT was the n

Nautilus. No apparently
the MKX is the new Nautilius?

Not sure if this is satire, but it s eems it’s pretty safe to say they haven’t announced their full line up.
![]() 10/02/2018 at 13:31 |

not really. Why would you launch a half finished website? it just goes to show they nee d to get their shit together.
![]() 10/02/2018 at 13:39 |

I don’t see a question mark there, so this implies they are in fact telling you why you should get a Lincoln.
![]() 10/02/2018 at 13:42 |

It’s probably only the 2019 models you can buy right now.

Have they announced there other line-ups?

They still need Hearses, you know

They’re not going down to only 2 vehicles, especially those being the only two. The site is not up-to-date.
MKZ- likely to continue until Fusion production is stopped, which is noted as being a few years away.
Continental- not sure. Rumors float that it will be nixed, but I have yet to see any official announcement. I’d bet it hangs on at least 1-2 more years.
MKT- Ford Flex is still in production for at least another 1-2 years, so let’s assume the MKT continues until the day arrives and they stop production on both.
MKC- continuing
MKZ- Renamed Nautilus for 2019. Instead of being included in the 2019 vehicles, it’s listed under “future vehicles”.
Navigator- The new model has been well received and selling well as I understand it, and luxury SUV’s are cash cows. No way this doesn’t live on.
And in 2020, the new Aviator (slots between Nautilus and Navigator) is coming, but it will probably be released sometime next year.
Given Ford’s announcement to stop producing cars, and given 50% of Lincoln’s sedan lineup is built on a Ford sedan platform, and the other 50% of Lincoln’s sedans aren’t selling well, it would be easy to see Lincoln becoming an SUV-only brand. But as of yet, I do not see any reason to believe any current model is going away for 2019.

I’ve seen several Lincoln Blackwoods, including a few this year, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen an MKT newer than 2015.

Have you sent them your blackwood, cause you should.

i didn’ t think they would go down to 2 models, but its seems pretty half-assed to show your 2019 line-up and not even be able t show the full line up. It would certa i nl y make it look like that i s all their going to have

The MKX is the Nautilus the MKT is turning into the Aviator.

no, im not up on the social media stuff so i dont really have a way to do that. Feel free to add it to their t witter or something, just add that it was created by OPPO’s OPPOsuarus

I personally love Lincoln’s line up and wish I could afford them. I want an MKZ AWD 3.0TT with 400 hp/400 torque. I also love the MKT and the Aviator is even better looking.

i like it too but i’m pretty disappointed they ditched the split grill. it looked pretty odd at first but just when they finally get it down right, its gone.

I’m also not up on social media

I was surprised how cramped the interiors were on the Lincoln sedans last time I was at the Chicago Auto Show. I’m not THAT tall but my knees hit the dash and my head the roof even with the seats all the way back and down. I mean my MINI has leg and headroom for days.

They got it right when?
![]() 10/02/2018 at 15:45 |

I don’t mind the split grille, but I think the Continental Face is a great improvement.

the latest sedan looks good but it sure as heel doesn’ t photograph well.
![]() 10/02/2018 at 16:00 |

it looks good but the split grill was unique. That shape grill seems to be pretty common now

The split grille was too unique though.

Exactly, especially when the 2019 Nautilus isn’t on there, or the Navigator.
Usually, if a manufacturer hasn’t released a new model year version of a vehicle, it won’t appear on the lineup until it’s out on the market.

I don’t know if they are doing terrible. I mean they could be doing better but they are pretty close to Acura and Cadillac and they are killing Jaguar and Land Rover

um, no, those two are the only 2019s launched so far . The rest are still MY18 production . the Nautilus hasn’t reached ok to buy so it’s not listed yet.

They need to get rid of the MK whatever. You could say MK A through Z and i would be like is that their sedan or SUV?
I think the Euro style naming is failing US Luxury brands and they would like to go back to name plates. And apparently Linclon is listening or at least trying to go back because in their future models they have the Aviator and Nautilus.

...and the three cars look the same.
